About
I’m Rachel Yves (sounds like Eve): writer, creative problem-solver, and advocate for intentional change. With a background in producing impactful marketing content and a passion for community-driven solutions, I bring clarity, beauty, purpose, and optimism to all my projects.
I recently completed a certification in fundraising and development, complementing my growing expertise in grant writing. My mission is to braid kindred intent among funders, partners, and organizations. To accomplish this, I deliver beautiful (and strategic) materials that capture attention and articulate goals to secure the audience and resources organizations need to make a meaningful impact.
When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, hiking trails, doing soul-feeding data entry for The Hopeful Encyclopedia, or penning speculative science fiction inspired by real-world change-makers. Let’s connect and create something extraordinary together.
“Always happy to help!”
I say it all the time, and I really do mean it! Here are a few of the organizations I’ve loved helping out:
Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association, Area Representative. I love my new hometown and am happy to volunteer with and learn from the TLNA council. I ideate and create marketing materials and merch to bring neighbors together year-round.
The Hygiene Ladies, Founding Board Member. Central Indiana will always be a home because it is home to my roots, friends, and family. I’m happy to volunteer my marketing skills to build this new non-profit to supply hygiene products to folks in Muncie. (Registration pending as of January 2026)
Wisconsin’s Future Problem Solving organization sits smack dab in the middle of my quadruple Venn diagram of interests: decision making, futurism, writing, and education. I was happy to volunteer my time to evaluate student essays in January 2026.
Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie (Delaware County, IN): I volunteered with UUCM’s Social Justice Committee, tutored Afghan refugees through their informal program, and gave a guest sermon in December 2024.
League of Women Voters (Delaware County, IN): I volunteering with LWV in 2024, working multiple events to register voters and represent the league to new faces.
Ellsworth Pride (Hancock County, ME): I volunteered as a public face of the organization and backend administrator in 2023. The committee members and mission have my enduring love.
Electronic Frontier Foundation, ACLU, The Elephant Sanctuaryare where I encourage friends and family to donate on my behalf.
